Lauren Hoffmeier is the author of the Mula and Friends picture book series, published by Sweet Cherry. Six months after the release of her debut title, she was recognized as a New York Times Readers' Favorite author.

Born and raised in New York City, Lauren's love of storytelling was shaped by years in the theatre. Today, her background in performance continues to influence her writing, bringing rhythm, humor, and a distinctly theatrical spirit to every story.

Lauren regularly visits schools, libraries, bookstores, and literary festivals, where she shares her love of storytelling through engaging author presentations. Her books have been featured at literary events in both the United Kingdom and the United States, and she is represented by Julie Finidori of Aevitas Creative Management.
