Lauren will be playing Maria Josepha Weber, sister-in-law to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, in the upcoming world premier of Marrying Mozart.  It is a new production adapted from Stephanie Cowell's novel of the same name.  Music by Mozart and libretto by Michael Capasso and the noted writer Bill Van Horn.

It has been a colossal adventure in the Dicapo Opera Theatre over these past two
weeks of rehearsal, where I have had to fill in the historical gaps of the real
woman, Josepha Weber: eventual opera diva and the oldest of the four Weber
sisters, for the world premier production of “Marrying Mozart.”
